April 1st – Oh My Days!!!!!

Sorry for the gap between posts – busy times.

Since we were last here Jarvis got ‘whacked’ at School in another of the IT playing games and ended up kissing a door handle and being taken to A&E by mum.

Next up was Sport Relief where Jarvis and I supported the BBC1 charity by running 1 mile along the MAll in glorious sunshine. Jarvis hit the mile hard in a sub-10 minute non-stop blast – very proud!

This weekend Mum is running Reading Half Marathon with Karen – we’re very proud of mum’s training – many 06:30am winter starts.

Its also the weekend of parties with both Rachael and Aidan turning 5

PS Jarvis has taken to using the phrase ‘Oh my God’ or ‘Oh my Days’ ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jarvis off to A&E

So Jarvis tells it that he was sucking a door handle and Issiah whacked him…

Anyway he is off to A&E with Mum and maybe a few more stitches..

Its Getting Cold in here…..

Its been a bit chilly in East London this weekend. It was BAU @ York Hall for some swimming and the odd R.A.K (Random Act of Kindness), a hard fought 2-1 Dads vs Kids football game and then over to Lana/Ruby’s for a sleep-over

Sunday was Circus skills followed by some Okido/Susie Dog art club action at Bethnal Greens magical museum of Childhood. Wholesome family fun x

Power of a Mattress: Untold

Greatness stands before us. Well more sleep anyway

After years of punishing the kids we’ve finally bought them humane matresses. The truth will be in the length of sleep.

daddy when I am 5 I wont need blankie

Traditionally either Amelie or Jarvis has woken up around 02:00-04:00am and wandered around maybe setting up camp in our bed, maybe switching their bedroom light on and playing the harmonica, or uttering the immortal words “i’m hungry” but often going back to sleep. Only to wake up permanently around 06:00am

We’re laying on thick that the mattresses have healing powers.

If we get it right it could be magical:

Mid January round up of sorts

Been offline for a few nights. No real reason. Winter blues I guess.

Someone stole Jarvis’s bike from outside the swimming pool which was really low. (Dad didnt lock it but is nothing sacred)

Jarvis’s response was “Daddy maybe a man took it to give to his boy because he doesnt have a bike” – top boy.

To try and help we had some croissants!!

We had a great time at Debbie and Phils for Olivers 8th Birthday. Yummy Yummy cake.

First trip to the new Westfield Shopping Centre @ Stratford where Jarvis and I tucked into  a box of candy and watched the rip-roaring ‘Puss in Boots’

Jarvis cleverly did this with his 'mush' at the new Westfield shopping centre

Back in the fetus days the kids used to be called ‘bubs’ or ‘bubba boobas’ and they’ve had countless names in between but for some reason they are known as ‘Ammo’ and ‘Jarvo’ at the moment.

We also still had a few days with the kids not back after NY and so it was lunch @ PizzaExpress in Farringdon

Finally some tasty action at our latest East End pop-up restaurant Ombra:
